Welcome to SRP website!

Your welfare is our concern

Southwark Refugee Project is a well established voluntary organisation serving the refugee community in the London borough of Southwark since October 1991. SRP was created in October 1991 to help refugees and asylum seekers help themselves become independent members of the local community. SRP was created by refugees and is managed mainly by refugees. We are an independent organisation and our services are free and confidential.

All refugees, regardless of race, colour, nationality, political opinion, religion, sex, marital status or disability, are encouraged to come to the office for advice and referral session. Remember! This project is for refugees and if you are one, make sure that you make use of the available services. All you need to do if you are coming for the first time is to come in one of our drop-in session, which is on Monday and Wednesday from 10.00am to 3.30pm

Due to the large number of people visiting SRP, it is advised that you attend our drop in sessions for initial advice. An Advice Worker will then arrange a follow up appointment, if appropriate. Please note that clients will not be seen outside of our drop in sessions or without a prior appointment. Your understanding and cooperation is greatly appreciated and assists us to maintain a high standard of service.
